We are Pretty Cure!
We are having Pretty Cure live performances in our home earlier than expected because KK said to me that it holding back Tai Pi's birthday present may not be such a good idea. Afterall, we expect her to take good care of her school socks and shoes not just till her birthday but after that as well so why keep the girls waiting for Tai Pi's Cure White costume. So I got Tai Pi the costume and a Card Commune (now I realise the handphone thing is known as a Card Commune) thinking that the girls could share Tai Pi's Card Commune and Pumpkin's Rainbow Bracelet. But Pumpkin now whines incessantly about not having her own Card Commune, apparently the accessory they need to unleash their power (why didn't you say so earlier Pumpkin?!!). So I've told her to get herself a Card Commune with her own savings. And now she wants the Card Commune holder as well. This Pretty Cure craze is going to bleed us dry!!!

Wow! What does it cost to keep kids happy nowadays? Luckily when I was a father, kids were happy just watching Ultraman on TV, no costumes, etc for sale. But then again, the earning power of the present generation of parents is so much better compared to my generation when we were overjoyed to received just a 4-figure salary like $1000!!! And NO incentive in any form for having 3 children!!!
The girls look smashing in their costumes, although I must say the black one is more so than the white one.
This is all part of the raising cost of living! The black costume has many more pieces than the white one and yet they both cost the same. I reckon the white one should actually be cheaper but they probably don't want different price levels so they simply price the white one higher than it should be - bloodsuckers!
Role-playing is good for the kids anyway so hopefully your money is well-spent.
The Card Commune thingy the girls have which turns out to be a tamagotchi kind of game which is where the toy is a kind of electronic pet and you need to feed it, take care of it, etc - well this silly thing works with cards where you need to swipe different cards to feed it, heal it when it is sick, etc and the problem is that it is so difficult to swipe, the girls get frustrated and when the cards get worn out which they very soon will be, I suppose you either get new cards or can't play anymore. Silly!!!
